At Xifeng county's Wenquan town, Guizhou Xiyang Industrial Co is experiencing a peak season for fertilizer production and supply for spring farming.
Fertilizers roll off fully automated production lines and are delivered to more than 1,500 county-level markets across China, providing support for spring ploughing and agricultural preparation.

With 26 years of development in the fertilizer industry, the company has grown into a comprehensive agricultural materials enterprise integrating R&D, production, trade and services. It has been listed among China's Top 100 Fertilizer Enterprises for multiple years and was re-certified as a "specialized and sophisticated" small and medium-sized enterprise in Guizhou province at the beginning of this year.
Guizhou Xiyang Industrial Co holds more than 70 national patents and over 300 intellectual property rights, with an annual production capacity of 1.6 million metric tons across more than 500 product types, including compound, functional and specialty fertilizers.

Over the past decade, the company has invested more than 70 million yuan ($10.3 million) annually in research and development, collaborating with universities and research institutes.
Through more than 2,300 experiments, the company developed key "needle-like fertilizer" technology. The product features rapid 30-second solubility and high absorption efficiency, with a daily production capacity of 1,200 tons, making it one of the largest producers in the industry.
Guizhou Xiyang Industrial Co's growth has also been supported by Xifeng county through measures in land use, raw material supply, financial support, and talent services.
In September 2025, in response to a shortage of phosphate rock, the county coordinated resources to secure over 60,000 tons of raw materials, ensuring stable and continuous production.
