"For every metric ton of phosphate gypsum packaging boxes produced, 0.8 to 1.1 tons of wood can be saved," said Li Zegang, the company's technical manager, with the boxes selling well domestically and internationally, reaching even Australia and Dubai.
The company has also developed high-quality anhydrous gypsum and crystalline calcium pellets, used as fillers in plastics for agricultural films, pipes, and other products.
By integrating research, production, and market application, Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Green Environmental Co is turning a long-standing industrial byproduct challenge into a sustainable, economically viable resource, advancing green and low-carbon industrial transformation.
