Maodong village, located in Yongyang subdistrict, Xifeng county, is actively developing agriculture and cultural tourism to promote rural vitalization.

The village has created a livestreaming brand to market agricultural products, bringing together nearly 20 nearby villages to jointly sell more than 30 kinds of high-quality products, including rice, chili, noodles, eggs, cured meat and sauce-flavored liquor.
Farmers focus on production, while the livestreaming brand handles sales, logistics and after-sales services, expanding market channels for local agricultural products.
Maodong village has also been developing its cultural tourism industry. The village now operates 45 homestays and four farm-stay restaurants, while cultivating about 300 mu (20 hectares) of flowers and planting 800 mu of premium fruit orchards.
In 2025, the village's collective income reached 2.23 million yuan ($322,965), while the average annual income of villagers stood at 25,500 yuan.
