Xifeng's new industrial hub takes shape

The Phase I infrastructure project of the Hejiaba Industrial Park, part of the Phosphorus-Coal Chemical Eco-Industrial Base in Xiaozhaiba town, Xifeng county, Guiyang, is progressing at a steady rate. At the construction site, the park's road network has largely taken shape, while standardized factory buildings are rising rapidly.

With a total investment of 489 million yuan ($72.27 million), the project broke ground in February 2024 and is scheduled for completion in December 2026. It includes the construction of standard factory buildings, municipal roads, integrated utility networks, water and power supply systems, wastewater treatment facilities, and landscaping works.

So far, all earthwork excavation has been completed, the basic road framework has been established, and a factory space of approximately 140,000 square meters has been built. Construction of roads, water supply pipelines, and stormwater and sewage networks is advancing in an orderly manner.

Industrial development is also gaining momentum. Longxin Green Textile Co, the first enterprise to set up operations in the industrial park, has already moved in around 500 production machines, with another 1,200 units expected to arrive in phases.

As infrastructure continues to improve and equipment installation progresses, the industrial park's capacity and service capabilities will be further enhanced, providing strong support for the clustering of the printing and dyeing industry, the optimization of the business environment, and high-quality local economic development.
