Xifeng optimizes spatial structure, functional layout

Xifeng county has been continuously optimizing its spatial structure and functional layout in recent years.

As urbanization accelerates, Xifeng county has faced challenges such as frequent population movement, limited urban carrying capacity, and the need to optimize its spatial layout further.

To address these issues, the county has developed a plan to rationally allocate space for production, residential living, and ecological development. The plan emphasizes building a modern industrial base focused on phosphate-based chemicals and new energy battery materials, creating a model area for preserving and inheriting red culture, as well as establishing a destination for hot spring health and wellness tourism.

At the same time, Xifeng has established key control lines, including the red line for cultivated land and permanent basic farmland protection, the ecological protection red line, and the urban development boundary.
