Xifeng county boosts rural homestay industry

To date, Xifeng county has developed homestay and vacation industries in 52 villages, revitalizing 298 idle houses and creating 2,226 guest rooms with 3,483 beds.

The county's summer vacation offerings combine red education, study tours, hot spring wellness, and countryside living, with more than 30 themed dining and accommodation packages.

Visitors have the chance to partake in activities such as tea picking and processing or hands-on farming, with the average guest staying for more than seven days.

This summer, Xifeng also launched three boutique routes featuring a blend of red education, ecological experiences, and cultural studies, along with 56 unique activities.

From June to August this year, Xifeng received 2.91 million visitors, generating tourism revenue of 3.18 billion yuan ($446.73 million).
