Construction accelerates on pharmaceutical industrial park in Xifeng

The Guiyang Health and Pharmaceutical (Chemical Medicine) Industrial Park in Xifeng county is accelerating the construction of its infrastructure and key projects. Recently, several milestones have been achieved, including the successful rollout of Guizhou Jianye Yongrong Technology Co's products, the full completion of the Chemical API PPP project, and the near completion of site leveling works for new pharmaceutical projects.

As one of Guizhou province's key hubs for active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) and new medicine industries, the park has attracted widespread attention since its inception, with a planned total investment of 1.95 billion yuan ($272.6 million). To date, six enterprises have signed agreements to set up operations in the park, representing a combined investment of 1.67 billion yuan. Among them, two projects have already been completed and entered trial production.

Guizhou Jianye Yongrong Technology Co, with a total investment of 230 million yuan, commenced operations in March this year. The company aims to produce 19,820 metric tons of pharmaceutical intermediates and APIs annually, with an expected output value of 165 million yuan.

The company's representative said that Jianye Yongrong plans to manufacture key products such as ethyl chrysanthemate, which cater to market demand for high-efficiency pesticides and pharmaceutical intermediates. Some core products have already secured orders from downstream enterprises.

In addition, Guiyang Heyi Investment Co is currently working to promote industrial investment, with the goal of building a complete chemical medicine industrial chain that integrates pharmaceutical intermediates, APIs, and formulations.
