Xifeng county is enhancing its rural healthcare network by advancing the construction of township healthcare service stations, ensuring convenient and accessible medical care near industrial parks.
Wenquan Township Health Center launched a new healthcare service station outside the premises of Guizhou Xiyang Industrial Co on Aug 15, with an investment of 300,000 yuan ($41,820). Five qualified medical professionals staff the facility and offer a general outpatient clinic capable of diagnosing and treating common and frequently occurring illnesses.

The service station has been designed with a clear and functional layout. Within the outpatient consultation room, physicians provide daily medical care, while a dedicated traditional Chinese medicine therapy room offers acupuncture, cupping, and related treatments. A well-stocked pharmacy ensures timely access to medicines, complemented by treatment rooms and inpatient wards.

This comprehensive setup allows factory workers and nearby villagers to enjoy the same quality of medical services as those provided at Wenquan Township Health Center, but closer to their homes and workplaces.

The establishment of this extended service point directly addresses the healthcare needs of over 1,600 Guizhou Xiyang Industrial Co employees and more than 11,000 residents from seven surrounding villages.
