Xifeng county's red tourism booms in H1

Xifeng county received 4.12 million visitors in the first half of this year, including 1.38 million visitors experiencing red tourism, accounting for 33.36 percent of the total.

Key red tourism landmarks, such as the Xifeng Concentration Camp Revolutionary History Memorial, the CPC Guiyang Municipal Party School Xifeng Field Teaching Base, and the newly opened Xifeng Nanshan Brick World Study Camp, have drawn vast crowds with immersive experience programs emerging as a new highlight.

At the former site of the Xifeng Concentration Camp, a large-scale immersive red education drama brought history to life. "It was truly overwhelming! Red history is no longer just words in a book, but a visible spiritual force," said one visitor.

The Xifeng Nanshan Brick World Study Camp also began operations in July, adding fresh vitality to red tourism. Children became animal keepers in the petting zoo, learning about feed preparation and animal biology, and took part in water safety lessons at the water park.
