In recent years, Xifeng has built a diversified tourism ecosystem under the "Refreshing Guiyang, Red Xifeng" brand, integrating red culture, hot springs, rural life, and ecological experiences. The county has transformed traditional accommodation-based tourism into a full-industry model. This summer alone, Xifeng received 2.77 million visitors, a 7.82 percent year-on-year increase, generating tourism revenue of 3.06 billion yuan ($425.47 million).
Tourism offerings have expanded with upgraded rural homestays, red education experiences, wellness packages, and hands-on farm activities. Over 30 seasonal accommodation plans, including long-term rentals and weekend stays, were provided for visitors to cater to diverse preferences. Popular homestays such as "Youjian Nanshan" and "Yingzi Courtyard" have become social media favorites.
