Xifeng welcomed 184,100 tourists during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday from May 31 to June 2, up 11.26 percent year-on-year, and generated tourism revenue of 101 million yuan ($14.06 million), a 16.91 percent increase.
Centered around key attractions like the Xifeng Concentration Camp Revolutionary Memorial, Nanshan Brick World, and Nanshan Tianmu Hot Springs, the county hosted 19 themed cultural, commercial, sports, and tourism events that received high praise from visitors.
At Nanshan Brick World, a "Pet Carnival" stole the show. With over 20 adorable animals and a block-building castle, the event was a hit among families. "My child loved it," said visitor Zhang Junlin. "It's interactive, fun, and perfect for parents to relax while kids play."

Meanwhile, Nanshan Tianmu Hot Springs offered a festive Dragon Boat Festival experience. Activities such as fish-catching contests, DIY herbal sachets, and making zongzi (rice dumplings) provided guests with a taste of tradition. "The hot springs were amazing, and the festive vibe was strong," said visitor Luo Hainan. "My parents especially enjoyed the hands-on cultural activities."
