Fertilizer donations support Xifeng's spring farming

On April 17, Yunnan Dazhuangyuan Fertilizer Co and Guizhou Batian Ecological Fertilizer Co launched a campaign in Xifeng county to promote reduced fertilizer use and increase crop yields while addressing the urgent need for spring farming supplies.

As part of the initiative, the two companies donated 40 metric tons of fertilizer to 17 villages, including Gaopo and Pingshan villages in Yanglongsi town, supporting local farmers during the critical spring planting season.

"We're deeply grateful to Yunnan Dazhuangyuan and Guizhou Batian. The 1,950-kilogram fertilizer donated to our village will benefit over 300 households," said the Pingshan village Party secretary. More than 3,250 kg of fertilizer has been distributed in Gaopo and Pingshan, reaching over 500 households.

Yanglongsi town has strengthened coordination by assigning dedicated personnel to liaise with enterprises and villages and streamline distribution procedures to ensure the efficient delivery of supplies.

Agricultural technicians have also been providing tailored fertilization guidance based on the growth characteristics of different crops. These efforts aim to optimize application methods and quantities, ultimately improving fertilizer efficiency and crop productivity.
