Rapeseed blossoms bring spring vitality to Xifeng

In early spring, over 9,000 mu (600 hectares) of rapeseed blooms across Jiuzhuang town in Xifeng county, blanketing the fields in golden hues and creating a picturesque rural landscape.

In the town's Jichang village, vast golden fields stretch like a sea of gold. Villager Xu Dingzhong said that he has planted 16 mu of rapeseed, and with government planting subsidies, his overall income has significantly increased.

According to an official from the Jiuzhuang Town Agricultural and Rural Comprehensive Service Center, the center distributed seeds last winter and organized technical training sessions to ensure farmers can grow efficiently and reap more rewards.

Jiuzhuang town is expected to produce around 1,800 metric tons of rapeseed this year. "These blooming rapeseed fields are not just a beautiful sight – they represent hope for increased income for local farmers," the official said.
