Construction of Xifeng industrial park progressing smoothly

Three boiler units have been installed in the power center of Guiyang Health & Pharmaceutical (Chemical Medicine) Industrial Park in Xifeng county. Equipped with an intelligent control system, these units mark the full completion of the park's energy supply system.

As a key chemical active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) and a new pharmaceutical industrial park in the province, the project has drawn considerable attention since its planning and development.

The project covers an area of approximately 4,084 mu (272.27 hectares) and includes a chemical API production project, a chemical API PPP project, and a new pharmaceutical project. Construction has commenced on a total area of 774.17 mu, with a total investment of 1.95 billion yuan ($266.8 million). Multiple plant buildings for the chemical API project are currently undergoing interior and exterior finishing work.

In addition to the progress in construction, investment promotion efforts are also in full swing. The aim is to build a complete chemical pharmaceutical industry chain covering intermediates, APIs, and formulations. So far, seven companies have signed agreements to operate in the park, with a total investment of 1.47 billion yuan.

The park is expected to generate annual sales revenue of 2.59 billion yuan, contribute 152 million yuan in taxes, create over 600 jobs, and fill a major gap in Guiyang's pharmaceutical sector, thus accelerating the transformation and upgrading of the city's chemical pharmaceutical industry.
