Xifeng holds 15th dragon dance competition

A total of 65 dragon dance, lion dance, and waist drum teams from across the county gathered on Feb 10 for the 2025 Xifeng 15th Dragon Dance Competition, presenting a lively feast for the people through parades, performances, and competitions.

The event started with a parade at 11 am. Teams departed from Xifeng High-speed Railway Station Square, toured along the designated route, and arrived at the Xifeng No 2 Middle School sports stadium.

The dragon dance competition began at 1 pm. Twelve teams gave the audience outstanding performances, and after an intense contest, the Longzhua village team from Yongyang Street won first prize.

This event is not only a highly influential cultural feast for Xifeng but also an important way to promote traditional Chinese culture.
