Guiyang, Gui'an strive for further high-quality development in 2025

In 2025, Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area, Southwest China's Guizhou province, will promote the construction of big data projects worth over 75 billion yuan ($10.29 billion), including the Huawei Cloud Global Intelligent Computing Center. They will leverage the computing power voucher policy to boost their computing power industry to a scale of 12 billion yuan.

Guiyang and Gui'an will gather 100 partner companies of the Huawei Cloud system, with revenues from software and information technology services reaching 120 billion yuan, growing by around 20 percent. Meanwhile, the Guiyang Big Data Science and Technology Innovation City will host 1,600 companies. Accelerating the development of the national data element comprehensive experimental zone and facilitating enterprises' data circulation and usage, Guiyang and Gui'an will create over 100 data products and over 100 data development and utilization institutions. The trading volume of the Guiyang Global Big Data Exchange is expected to exceed 10 billion yuan.

The completion of the Guiyang FinDreams Battery phase II project and the CATL Guizhou Base will be advanced with a new energy battery capacity of 38 Gigawatt-hour. Guiyang and Gui'an will promote the expansion of Geely's Guiyang base and Chery's (Guizhou) industrial base to increase the scale of complete vehicle production and develop a batch of automotive parts supporting industries, with new energy vehicle production exceeding 250,000 units and the added value of the automotive manufacturing industry growing by over 60 percent.

Guiyang and Gui'an will carry out preliminary work for the Guiyang Wujiang River water supply project and the connectivity project from Hongfeng Lake to Huaxi Reservoir, with total water conservancy investment exceeding 40 billion yuan. They will continue to advance the construction of 10 ongoing expressway projects and launch an expansion project for the Guiyang ring expressway and the Zhexiang-Hongshuihe Expressway, bringing the province's total expressway mileage to 9,500 km.

Guiyang and Gui'an will also accelerate the construction of the phase II project of five national regional medical centers, helping provincial-level regional medical centers collaborate with high-level hospitals outside the province.
