Xifeng GDP surges 8.3% during Jan-Sept

Xifeng county in Guiyang recently released its economic results from January to September. During the period, the county's GDP jumped 8.3 percent year-on-year to 12.89 billion yuan ($1.76 billion).

The added value of the primary sector reached 2.18 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.6 percent, the added value of the second industry skyrocketed 16.6 percent to 4.68 billion yuan, and the added valued of the tertiary industry grew 3.9 percent, exceeding 6 billion yuan.

The added value of the three industries accounted for 16.9 percent, 36.3 percent and 46.8 percent of GDP, respectively.
