He Ming, deputy Party secretary and head of the county, has reported that Xifeng has been dedicatedly working towards digital rural development ever since being designated as a national pilot site for digital village development in October 2020. The county's tireless efforts have paid off, as it has been ranked as the top-performing county in the province in the December 2022 evaluation.
He focused on "Four Ones" to introduce the county's efforts to construct digital villages. The first one is a subject database. Xifeng county has been building three data standard systems of "broiler industry subject, education subject database, and grassroots governance subject database" to empower rural revitalization.
The second one refers to a traceability map of agriculture products, which is vital to the county's blockchain pilot. The traceability map has not only provided a guarantee for consumers but also protected intellectual property rights and facilitated supervision by regulatory authorities.
Through a big data cloud platform for animal husbandry, Xifeng has realized real-time data collection of mobile terminals and integrated data, including animal immunization, original quarantine declaration, and immunization investigation to monitor and manage epidemic prevention throughout the process.
Additionally, Xifeng took the lead in building a county-level homestead information management system in Guiyang, realizing the digital management of rural homesteads. Meanwhile, the system was integrated with a comprehensive service platform for rural property rights so that farmers and business entities could complete transactions online.
As of now, through the system, 598 transactions of idle homesteads and farmhouses in the county were completed, with a transaction value of over 28.93 million yuan ($4.09 million).
