Xifeng ensures drinking water safety

The bureaus of water affairs and environmental protection in Xifeng county have joined efforts to roll out inspection and construction activities to ensure the safety of local residents' drinking water.

This year, Xifeng reported two rural drinking water projects in Wenquan town and the county's central urban area, respectively, and both have already begun construction.

Government officials have also launched inspections of local centralized drinking water sources.

There are a total of 12 centralized drinking water sources in Xifeng, three of which have been equipped with automatic water quality monitoring stations.
