Xifeng holds voluntary tree-planting activity

On Jan 28, Xifeng county held its annual voluntary tree-planting activity for the new year. The event was participated in by senior members of the county government.

Having put in place policies advocating the protection and restoration of forests, grass, lakes and rivers, the county now boasts a forest coverage rate of 59.67 percent, with 100 percent of the surface water and centralized drinking water sources all meeting water quality standards.

In 2023, the government was urged to cultivate family farms and large households for grain production and animal husbandry, cooperatives and agriculture companies, and further develop the under-forest economy and ecological growing business.
