Xifeng county in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, has three main ways of pushing forward with its new urbanization process.
The county has fully carried out its talent attraction policy by building 115 talent apartments, collecting 7,164 jobs for college graduates, continuing with household registration system reforms, and encouraging the flow of rural population into urban areas. So far, the county boasts 2,521 new permanent residents.
Xifeng will renew its efforts to build 15-minute living circles, upgrade parking lots and farm produce markets, and renovate shanty towns, old residential areas and rundown laneways, with five laneways currently being reconstructed.
In addition, resources will be further relocated to improve the quality of local business districts. Famous convenience store chains and flagship stores will also be brought into the county.
