Xifeng county tax bureau promotes its services

The tax bureau of Xifeng county – located in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province – recently held an activity involving 15 professionals selected from local tax institutions, who were invited along to experience the bureau's tax and fee services.

The event aimed to address weak links and problems existing in the taxation service procedures, boost the experience of tax and fee payers, and improve tax-related service models.

Chen Dan, who works for a local financial consultant, was impressed by the bureau's convenient services after she tried out a contactless receipt application, review and delivery procedures.

Officials from the tax bureau also gave talks on the different functions and areas of the tax office to the 15 professionals, and acquainted them with the procedures involved.

Representatives from the bureau were urged to go to specific firms and invite staff members to experience a series of online products and services, such as electronic business cards and tax payment platforms.

"We are going to recruit experiencers from different walks of life and conduct an experience activity on a regular basis," said Cai Mingguo, deputy director of the bureau.
