Xifeng county in Southwest China's Guizhou province has formulated measures to boost local tourism.

In order to learn about the county's available tourism resources and products, as well as the existing difficulties travel agencies are facing, the government has launched two research projects this year, and by 2025, the county's tourism revenue is expected to reach 20 billion yuan ($3 billion), while annual hot spring visits are expected to exceed 2.6 million.

The county has also quickened its steps in the construction of major tourism projects, such as the Nanshan Tianmu Hot Spring project, which will begin trial operation in December, and the Long March National Cultural Park (the Xifeng construction project), whose first phase of construction has been completed.

The authorities have also tried to attract more investment in tourism projects. A total of 15 100-million-yuan projects and one 1-billion-yuan project will be launched based on various natural areas such as Xiwang Mountain, Nanwang Mountain, Tiantai Mountain, and Wujiang Canyon.
