Following its renovation and expansion, the Xifeng Hot Spring Sanatorium has an area of more than 400 mu (26.67 hectares), and the building area has increased to 100,000 square meters. New facilities including a tourist service center, a water amusement center, and tennis courts have been built.

With a total planned investment of 3 billion ($464 million), Xifeng Xinluo Hot Spring, which will be constructed in three phases, will be built into a hot spring tourist town, integrating hot spring vacations, sports and amusements, modern agricultural tourism, healthcare and elderly care.

After completion, it is expected to receive 250,000 tourists annually, and realize an annual operating income of 50 million yuan.
